Love this place! Went with friends and their baby, did not have a reservation, I was worried we would not be able to eat here, but the hostess was very kind, she found a large but accommodating table for us! We got very lucky on this trip, I can't believe I forgot to make reservations but I'll remember for next time, because we will definitely be back! The manager was super nice, very friendly! Our server, Cameron was AMAZING! He was very patient with us and explained everything on the menu in detail. His "favorites" really helped us with our dinner selection and everything was exactly as he described! I wish more servers were honest about what has the best/complimenting flavors to more mild flavors. Our friends had never had fondue before and they loved it as well! The dim lighting really makes the setting more intimate and made us lose track of time (in a good way!) we had so much time to chat and catch up with our friends and never felt rushed. You would never guess that there are so many other people in the restaurant, it's so quiet and relaxing, you'd think you had the whole place to yourself! I'm getting gift cards for my friends for future visits! Thank you!

This place is amazing! This is the perfect place to take your significant other out on a special night. The lighting is sexy, the food is amazing (and there is a LOT of it!), and the price is fair... you are pretty much guaranteed a great experience here. And come on, it's fondue!! Interactive food is the best! Totally makes for great conversation. In fact, we stopped calling it FONdue and started calling it FUNdue. :)

First experience at the Melting Pot Saturday night. Our server Mike was awesome and very helpful with the menu. Im a server myself so im usually very judgemental about other restaurants and service, but i was very impressed. There was eight of us in our party, and we had a fun time. Thanks again, I will be back. Make sure to ask for Mike.

This is by far the greatest fondue spot I've been to. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere with friendly and comfortable service. Perfect for long dinners - wouldn't suggest this place if you are on a time constraint as the experience is so great from appetizer cheese fondue to melting chocolate - you won't want to rush it!

We had the four course menu. Started with Wisconsin blend cheese fondue. Next course was the California salad. For the entree, we decided to mix it up a bit. I had the Pacific rim, while my wife had The surf and turf. Since this was my first time and milk chocolate is my favorite, we chose the milk chocolate. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and of the highest quality. While I believe the food was well worth it, this was very pricy, and will be reserved for special occasions.

Definitely a great spot for all of the fondue fans out there! I have been here a handful of times, and have tried a little bit of everything. I have to say, their custom martinis and dessert are absolutely the best part, and their cheese fondue presentations can be hit or miss, but are usually good. This is a fun place for a group!

The last evening for our departure... was S U P E R Our server was Mike. Very friendly and calm. We started with a Love Martini (8,95 dollar), a lemon berry mojito (8,95 dollar), a coke (2,50 dollar) and a bottle San Pelliggrino water (3,95 dollar). The cocktails were sooooo good !!! The cheddar fondue made at our table was delicious. We had the mojo fondue (4,99 dollar). My men went for the classic combo (38,99 dollar/each) and I had the duck entree (20,99 dollar). It came together with vegetables and some potatoes. There was some space for the original chocolate fondue as dessert together with a tasteful cafe latte (4 dollar) and a cafe international (6,95 dollar). We had no reservation but we got very fast a table near the bar. All servers were busy and polite. The customer is treated well. Even the manager came to present himself. We had a cheque of 160 dollar (incl tip) and yes, too expensive for doing it on a regular base. Nevertheless, we were satisfied and would like to recommend this place to everybody.

I love this place. Great service. 4 course meal is awesome. Cheese, salad, beef seafood and chicken to dip and then the awesome chocolate dessert. I have also had the cajun meal with andouille sausage. If you dont like the 4 couse meal you can order ala carte.

Went for a pre-set menu night with some friends and it was such a blast. Be prepared to spend a few hours there though if you're going for a full dinner with 3-4 courses. It was so fun and I actually liked how spaced out the courses were so you didn't get completely full right away! The cheese dish was great, we went with the fiesta option, and of course our absolute favorite was the milk chocolate dessert fondue - they had such yummy options to dip in it! Definitely a fun option for a special night!

One of the best foodie experiences I have had thus far! This little gem of a restaurant is a totally unique and eclectic dining experience. We made reservations for 8:30 for my Moms birthday. I found an awesome deal on groupon and was offered the birthday package with balloons, chocolate covered strawberries and a framed photograph. Our waiter prepared the table and took our appetizer order, we got the Alpine Cheddar cheese fondue which came with fresh fruits, veggies, and crusty bread. Delicious! The fondue has a hint of nutmeg and was prepared right before our eyes with multiple cheeses. Next were the salads, you can't go wrong with any of them, the four of us each got a different one. Fresh ingredients And yummy dressings! Next was the proteins, our table got a sample of mostly everything from the teriyaki sirloin to shrimp, herb crusted chicken, sesame ahi tuna, Memphis pork, potstickers, and raviolis! The multitude of dipping sauces was a treat! We ended with the flaming turtle chocolate fondue that our waiter fired up right at the table, so rich and decadent, paired perfectly with the brownies, Rice Krispies, pineapple, strawberry and pound cake! Guys, seriously, this was such a great dining experience. From the wait staff to the managers, it was perfect! Will certainly return for my next celebration!

Fantastic service! We loved our server Alex and the manager, Ian, was delightful to meet too. I found a groupon earlier that day for two people and I bought it before asking the restaurant. I called a hour before coming in and asked if they would take the groupon. Ian said no but he honored the price of the 4 course meal that the groupon was offering. I thought that was very nice! We'll just use the groupon at another location. No biggie! Out of all the courses, our favorite was the dessert. My goodness, was it delicious! We tried the cookies and cream with the marshmallow dream. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!! This place is definitely a restaurant for special events. I can't see myself eating here on any given day...too expensive. Overall, I enjoyed my time. If I were to return, I probably just go for dessert and try a different chocolate goodness they have to offer.

My husband and I are always looking for places to try. I have a severe gluten allergy so I have to be careful. They were wonderful! We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. No regrets! Our bartender/server was awesome! So accommodating, and thoughtful. My husband had the 4 course experience and loved it! I'm not a big eater so I just got entrees. I figured I would just steal a piece of fruit from my husbands dessert, the bartender picked up on this so made the dessert plate gluten free, and I ended up eating half, lol. Next time one all for me, delish! Great night will definitely be back....and at the bar by choice :)

Found this place on Groupon. We were celebrating my Mom's birthday and she loves different, unique eating experiences and I figured a fondue restaurant would fit the bill. I called to make a reservation and was asked if we were celebrating any special occasions and I was offered a birthday package for $20 that included a framed picture of us, balloons and a box of chocolate cover strawberries. When we got there, the outside didn't look fancy, but the interior was very nice (kind of modern/chic). Our waiter was Devon; he was friendly, good at educating us on our choices and how the meal would proceed. He was very attentive throughout the evening, but not encroaching. We added a cheese fondue (wasn't included in our groupon), we selected different salads and everyone was raving about their choice. Proteins were the next course- again, everything was so flavorful and fun to cook in the fondue pot. Lastly was the fondue chocolate. We got the s'more... Oh. My. Goodness! It was heaven in our mouths! My favorite things to dip were the rice krispy bars and pineapple slices. We spent more then 2 hours over the 4 courses, and didn't feel rushed. The entire hour ride home, we talked about how great the food was and how fun the experience was and that we would most defiantly return!

Had Valentines dinner here and they didn't disappoint. We had a private little booth - felt like we were in our own little restaurant. They took a pic of us and gave it to us for free. Server was excellent. Didn't push us through and allowed us to relax and take time. Very romantic and enjoyable. Will be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ft. Myers. Spectacular food and great service. If you are impatient, or want a cheap meal, this is not the place for you. If you love to take your time, eat several courses and savor your meal, go to The Melting Pot.

I am very surprised that there is not a review yet on here for this place because it is a well known franchise and plus this place was great. We did not have a reservation which is good to have for here on a weekend, but we only waited about 20 minutes so it was not so bad. We sat at the bar and had a drink, and the bartender was so helpful by going over the menu with us and giving us some insight on what it takes to work at the melting pot. Our waiter Matt was great at explaining and making sure the food was great and by making sure we had all we needed. We selected the "Big Night Out" which is pretty much a 4 course meal, including, cheese fondue, salad, entree, and dessert. Everything was tasteful and fulfilling with the Fiesta Cheese Fondue and Bananas Foster dessert being our favorites of the night. It is indeed pricey but you certainly get what you paid for, will definitely be a place we would visit again on a special occasion.

I really couldn't say if this was an expensive place I'm sure it is, when I went it was all paid for. The service was excellent! This is a wonderful place to go for any type of date whether it's your first or you want something fun to do. This is also a good place to go for as a family reunion. There were also kids here too, however i wouldn't recommend taking kids unless you're fine with them playing with effin hot pots and hot food. I'll will say this place is not loud at all. If you are considering dining here I warn you the experience here will exceed 2-3 hours as I arrive there at 7 and left at 10pm. It is not a quick in and out. They have a lot on their menu. They mix the cheese dips for you in front of you, same for the liquid to cook your food in, and the chocolate for dessert. If you like caramel and chocolate go for the turtle chocolate they have(: considering it was my first time here and I missed the beginning portion of the conversation, you do cook your own food here in the pots (refer to the photos I have taken). They serve you raw food all pretty on your plate and it's up to you to cook it. The waitresses and waiters change their names often so who knows if what they tell you is their real name. All in all this was fun, it's relaxing and really allows you to sit back and chat. I thought this place just had chocolate btw- yeah I was WRONG.

This chocoholic was super happy to finally find a peanut allergy friendly place for desserts. Very friendly waiter. Great food presentation. Can't go wrong.

I've been twice to this location after the one in Naples closed awhile back. Although it's quite a drive, the food and experience itself make it totally worth it. The servers we had were extremely accommodating to whatever we needed and super friendly through all the courses. It is truly something you must experience at least once. If I lived closer and/or had the money, I would be here all the time.

This place is my favorite for a more intimate gathering. The food is great, I love fondue! The service is excellent and so is the atmosphere. For my birthday they gave me balloons, a picture frame, and a box of chocolate covered strawberries! Very cool

My first fondue dinner experience left me anxious to try again. We had the four couse - swiss cheese fondue, house salad, land/sea and french quarter entree, and white & milk chocolate fondue dessert. We were very full at the end - we should have had a light lunch or left dessert for the next visit.
